2. Group Training - for an organization looking to train its staff on HIPAA and obtain their HIPAA training certification for staff members. To setup a group training account, call us.
   
   Our group training option includes a shared multi-user account setup. It involves zero administration as it does not require you to setup user names and passwords. Once your account is setup, everyone logs in using the same username/password. They take the training and once they are complete, each individual takes the final exam. On successfully passing the final exam, each individual enters their name on their certificate and gets a generated pdf certificate immediately for them to save or print off. A copy of that certificate with transcript scores are emailed to the administrator's email address on the account.
   
   So all you have to do is give everyone the username/password, let them take the training, and sit back and get an email copy as everyone finishes the training. It couldn't be easier.
   
   
3. HIPAA Compliance Do It Yourself Kits - for an organization looking to implement HIPAA compliance such as notice of privacy practices, forms, policies and procedures, etc, along with a step by step to do list that walks you through the entire process. To take our individual training, simply click on signup and register for the appropriate kit.

   The documents are available immediately online in microsoft word format for download individually or in bulk.
   
   The do it yourself kits contains everything a HIPAA Privacy/Security officer would need to implement HIPAA other than training. The training component can be purchased separately.

Finally, the products are also segmented by audience. Under HIPAA, the 4 major types of entities are listed below. Each has a different set of requirements under HIPAA.

1. Healthcare Providers -physicians, clinics, hospitals, nurses, medical students, and other direct healthcare providers
   
   
   • Mental Health - Examples include psychiatrists, psychologists, social services, mental health professionals, etc. This category falls under healthcare providers but we segment it separately because there are some additional privacy concerns with mental health such as with psychotherapy notes.
     
     
2. Health Insurance Providers - health insurance providers such as humana, blue cross, etc. (Note: we do not currently offer a course for Health Insurance Providers)
   
   
3. Employer Group Health Plans - HR department of XYZ company that offers health benefits to their employees.
   
   
4. Business Associates - partner individuals/organizations that work with healthcare providers, insurance companies, or employer group health plans For example, medical billing companies, marketing companies, software/ medical devices companies, third party administrators, medical couriers,etc
   
   

Within each offering above, there are two types of packages: HIPAA Privacy and HIPAA Security. These directly correspond to the two HIPAA regulatory laws: HIPAA Privacy and HIPAA Security. HIPAA Awareness is considered part of the HIPAA Privacy regulations.

HIPAA Privacy relates to safeguarding protected health information while HIPAA Security relates to safeguarding protected health information in electronic form. Everyone is subject to the HIPAA privacy regulations. If you transmit protected health information in electronic form outside the organization, ie, electronic medical billing, electronic insurance submissions, vpn connectivity, emails, you may be optionally subject to the HIPAA security regulations.
